First Vice President of FORENERGO Vitaly Kobzev described to the guests the manufacturing processes and unveiled the company development plans.
Today the one of the areas of first priority to the company is the creation of a new FORENERGO enterprise for the production of glass insulators in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, Director of JSC UMEK Alexey Efimov gave the guests a tour in the plant, having gone to the details of the work at each workshop.
FORENERGO plans to create a modern enterprise that meets all international standards. Even at the initial stage, the holding is ready to invest at least $1 million to get all necessary equipment for the new enterprise; the production area excluding auxiliary and storage facilities will be about 1.5 thousand square meters.
The Kazakhstan market's annual demand for glass insulators today is about 1 million pieces. This is exactly the volume that is planned to be covered by the new production.
The Consul General properly reviewed the proposal and expressed his firm intention to support the FORENERGO initiative. The issue will be worked out at the level of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Chelyabinsk Region.
