Suspension glass insulators of Fog type profile
Suspension glass insulators type are used for isolating and fixing the wires to the overhead power lines, power distribution facilities and substations of AC voltage over 1000 V and a frequency up to 100 Hz. Operated at an ambient temperature of -60 to +50oC.
The space under ribs and their height prevent partial discharges between contiguous standouts in case of very heavy pollution. Glass insulators are applied in the industrial, agricultural and coastal areas.
