Video conference with participation of representatives from “UMEK Group”, “PLN” company and contractors from Indonesia took place on September 3. More than 150 foreign experts exchanged their views during this online meeting.
At the beginning of the conference UMEK plant introduction was presented. The participants were informed about technological processes, range of products and international supply experience. Then during Q&A session Indonesian partners were asking questions about life-time and weather conditions applied to UMEK products, glass insulators advantages compare to porcelain and composite ones as well as possibility of using glass insulators on substations. Foreign experts were particularly interested in test center activity, tests methods and volumes.
We almost sure that recent videoconference will let us strengthen ties between Russian glass insulators manufacturer and energy companies of one of the most important country in South-East Asia.
