UMEK at 47th CIGRE Session
CIGRE Sessions are the most important biannual events of this international association. The primary goal of CIGRE Session is to provide exchange of knowledge and experience between world-wide experts of the electricity industry from generation to distribution. 3600 participants from 98 countries took part in 47th CIGRE Session on 26-31 September in Paris.
JSC UMEK was presented at the regular technical exhibition that is the part or the Session. Innovative products of about 300 companies throughout the whole world were demonstrated on the 17780 square meters of three-store building.
The UMEK installation at the exhibition has been visited by the delegates of 32 countries including India, Peru, Brazil, China, France, Canada, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Thailand, Poland, Czech, Serbia, Netherland, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kenya, Croatia, Switzerland, Tunisia, Republic of Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Nigeria and others. Representatives of companies from various areas of electricity industry and commerce were among the visitors. Such an experience of participation in this and previous CIGRE Sessions ensures UMEK that these contacts with foreign partners will soon boost export supplies.
